Tricia Trevaskis was born into a family of six girls in Geelong, Victoria, Australia.After gaining her teaching qualifications at Geelong Teacher's College, she worked as a primary school teacher while continuing to study for her Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Creative Writing.Leaving Geelong, aged 25, she and her husband lived in various towns in regional Victoria and NSW, before heading with their family to Western Australia, in 2002.Despite a brief foray into journalism, she always maintained her passion for teaching. With four children and five grandchildren, she lives with her husband, Greg in Bunbury, WA, close to the ocean and not too far from the golf course.The Wildcards is her debut novel.
