The Winston Story is the heartfelt telling of a family who has been told their pet had weeks to live. Bone Cancer was the diagnosis, and verified by multiple veterinarians. They gave Winston zero chances and at best, a year if Tim and Karen could spend the money to do radiation therapy. The family members are Christians who believe that God Cares about the smallest details in our lives, and that includes our pets. In a strange, but simple way, Tim believed he heard from God, telling him that Winston would live, and decided he would approach the sickness through faith and faith alone. Over the next several months, as he watched the health of his beloved friend and pet wane, he leaned on his faith and began to dive into the miracles of Jesus in his personal studies. Through tears and prayers, fasting, the anointing of oil, and prayers from many friends and family, they held passionately to their faith. This persistent atmosphere of worship and prayer brought about unimaginable things in their lives and after it was all over, a perfect stranger walked up to Tim and told him "The Lord says for you to Write The Story!" This book is about how God cares for us and what we can expect when we cry out to Him in Truth and Spirit! It searches the truths and mysteries about the miraculous and challenges how many believe. It will tug at your heart on many levels, likely causing you to laugh out loud or possibly cry at times. Tim bares his heart and is open and vulnerable as he shares this true story about his dog, Winston, and a battle with K9 Cancer that changed the lives of many people.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Tim has been described as a craftsman on many levels. However, he most enjoys the craft of story-telling. He writes often, as an outlet for expression, although he doesn't formally consider himself a "writer." He has written a few published articles for a news paper in a nearby city, and has a blog for his personal website to which he contributes quarterly. Tim owns his own business and works at his church as the missions pastor and the men's pastor. He is a husband to an incredible woman, Karen, a father, step father and father-in-law to six incredible people. Jon and Kat, Ashley, Kaitlyn and Kevin and Abby. He is also a grandfather to arguably the three best little boys and the two most beautiful and best little girls in the world. He is an avid outdoors-man and typically prefers to be outside over in. It is his love of the outdoors that drives many of his habits, character traits, and stories. He believes God speaks to him often through his time spent out-of-doors and hopes to relay those moments as effectively as possible, in his writings.
