There is a section to write down a wish and write out steps to make the wishes manifest. Living in the Pacific NW, within view of the slumbering volcano Mt. Baker, MaryElaine naturally believes in Bigfoot, faeries, tall tales, and fandangled dreams! In 2010 MaryElaine decided to take wishing she could illustrate to illustrating and 'wishing' she could write children's books to write children's books. MaryElaine felt being an Indy author/illustrator was the best personal practice to learn what she didn't know or understand. Her initial efforts yielded the first book, The Mt. Baker Faerie Forest. Now, MaryElaine with three new books: Wonderous Beings, The Wishing Keeper, and My Puppy's Hair, MaryElaine hopes children learn they are wondrous beings and their minds are brilliant.
