Quinn Lamothe has enjoyed reading and writing from a young age, having been introduced to the fantasy genre through the exploits of Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian. Although Quinn has no formal writing experience, he has learned a lot from those who do, and he has sought to apply that knowledge to this book, seeking to portray a strong female protagonist who is both interesting and complex. Quinn lives in Burnaby, BC, with his family and their pets. This is his first novel.
