Novelist Leonard Sanders is a former newspaper journalist and book review editor of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The Wooden Horseshoe was his first novel. Other titles include Fort Worth, The Hamlet Warning and The Hamlet Ultimatum, Sonoma, and his most recent, In the Valley of the Shadow. Sanders lives in Fort Worth.
