The book The Word (the ABC of the Young Creator) is rooted in the author's childhood. He wanted to have a creative Primary and since he did not have one as a child he decided to write such a work for the younger generations to come. In the former USSR true creative freedom was not encouraged and freedom of thought was a threat to the Soviet system. The author's courage is admirable: he discovered in the famous area of Latin letters (Moldova used the Cyrillic alphabet for its Romanian language until 1989) new values, amazing substrates, profound thoughts on folklore, history, mythology, literature, arts, etc. Before its first edition in 1998, the special course The Word was taught by the author in several public and private schools in Moldova. Because of this course, most talented students held creative meetings with the author, literary and artistic circles. The second edition appeared in 2005 as a pocket edition and was called The Latin Letter. The third edition appears in 2010,revised and supplemented with a creative laboratory as a result of this experimental course. The 2010 edition was translated by Olga Amarie and Rosemary Lloyd, Professors at Indiana University, USA.
