Thesis is a research on the work of CEDAW Committee and its efforts undertaking in the last decade in order to address its commonly criticized limitations. The paper also reviews 6 views and decisions adopted by the Committee under the Optional Protocol and highlights its legacy to the international human rights system.

Autor

The author has extensive experience in human rights field gained working in the Balkans for the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. She served as a Confidence Building and Rule of Law Officer in the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje and as a Human Rights Officer in the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
