William (Bill) Ruse, BSPH, MBA, JDRuse's specialties are pharmacy, law, hospital management, teaching, writing and consulting. 1957 - Ruse started his career as a staff pharmacist and subsequently became chief pharmacist at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio. 1960 - Joined the staff at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio, where he served as chief pharmacist, director of personnel and purchasing, assistant administrator, and subsequently, chief executive. In 1964, Bill served as president and CEO of the Blanchard Valley Health Association, a parent corporation of Blanchard Valley Hospital, founded in 1984.Ruse is president emeritus of the Blanchard Valley Health Association, which is headquartered in Findlay, Ohio. Ruse retired from Blanchard Valley in 2001 after serving as its president and CEO for 36 years. The Association is one of the largest world health care delivery systems in Ohio, where it holds interests in hospitals, nursing homes, managed care, specialty health centers, and several subsidiary health-related corporations spread throughout Northwest and West Central Ohio. In recognition of his years of leadership, Blanchard Valley named its new 65,000 square-foot building on its Findlay hospital campus the" William E. He has practice hospital, community, and clinical pharmacy in five states and two countries, Mexico and Zimbabwe. He was a member of the faculty at the University of Nebraska. Later, he joined the faculty of Ohio Northern University College of pharmacy to institute the system of experiential education for the first time at the college. While at Ohio Northern, he served as a Fulbright scholar at the University of Zimbabwe, where he taught clinical pharmacy and clinical pharmacokinetics. He co-authored eight books on the proper use of drugs, mainly for the consumer market. He published several academic papers and presented hundreds of continuing education programs for physicians, pharmacists, and nurses. He advanced through all the academic chairs and served as associate dean before retiring.After retiring, he continued to provide continuing education to health professionals around the country. He taught endocrinology over the Internet to Doctor of Pharmacy students in Ohio Northern University.Nine years after leaving Ohio Northern University he was offered the opportunity to found a new College of Pharmacy at the University of Findlay. After leading the college to full accreditation, he retired as the first emeritus dean in the 130-year history of the University of Findlay.Stansloski's educational background and licenses include the following: -Big Rapids High School, Big Rapids, Michigan.
