Awarded Best Swedish Picture Book of 2022 International picture book star Emma AdBåge is a master at capturing life on a schoolyard: the games, friends, and group dynamics. The Wound is about being the center of attention, being visible and suddenly being the one everyone wants to talk to. Attention is exciting and wonderful, but what happens next, when your wound heals? The story takes place at a school, where children have come up with their own game: running around a ping-pong table at breakneck speed! When a young boy falls and hurts his leg, it becomes ... a wound. A bloody wound that needs a bandage. The blood is scary, but at the same time, the attention is a bit wonderful. But what happens afterwards, when the wound has healed? Any kid who has ever hurt themselves and gotten unexpected attention will find this relatable and accessible!Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
