Autorenporträt
Laurel Watson is the curator at the Hayden Heritage Center Museum. She serves on the Board of Directors for Historic Routt County and is also an advisor for Colorado Heritage Tourism. Watson earned her MA in American History in 2010. The historic Brooklyn neighborhood and red light district was the subject of her thesis and was later subject of a piece she wrote for Steamboat Magazine's summer 2012 edition. Her work has also been published in the Yampa Valley Voice.
