Autorenporträt
Michael Larzelere is a retired school teacher. He holds a BS degree in Special Education (EI) from Eastern Michigan University, A Masters in Special Education (LD) from Oakland University, Michigan, and an Education Specialist in Reading from Wayne State. The story the YEAR WINTER CAME LATE was first written over 40 years ago as a narrative poem. With the help of a friend, Michael rewrote the poem as a story. Seeking the opinion of different grade-level students, Michael read the story to students in classrooms throughout the Port Huron Schools from where he retired. Thanks to an overwhelmingly positive response by the students of Port Huron Schools, the book is now published. Michael Larzelere lives with his wife and cat. He enjoys golfing with his friends, his daughter, and his grandchildren. He also likes eating out, doing jigsaw puzzles, and collecting elephants.
