Through a series of unexpected encounters and bittersweet reunions, time-traveling private investigator Imogen Oliver must once again navigate her complicated life, sometimes learning the hard way that the present can be as dangerous and unpredictable as the past. In this exciting sequel to The Time Tourists, her extraordinary ability to time travel through a still photograph leads to a hiking excursion to 1971 Mount St. Helens; post-WWII Kansas, and to a New Year's Eve bash where she learns a hard lesson in the perils of partying in 1920s New York.
