An enlightened Kriya master and author of many books, Swami Shankarananda was of the same lineage as Swami Yogananda, author of the classic book Autobiography of a Yogi. He founded the Divine Life Church of Absolute Oneness in Baltimore, where he shared his divine inspirations for four decades. He taught the universal truths of Vedanta, absolute oneness with God, the underlying harmony and essential oneness of all life and all religions. Appointed by Swami Shankarananda as his successor, Swami Nityananda continues the lineage.
