Upon opening it, you'll find a rhyme/riddle on the left-hand page and an image of a child in a yoga pose on the right-hand page. Produktbeschreibung
"The Yoga Riddle" is an illustrated book designed for the age group of 3-6 years. Upon opening it, you'll find a rhyme/riddle on the left-hand page and an image of a child in a yoga pose on the right-hand page. As a riddle, the child listening to the reading will try to assume the indicated yoga position and guess which shape their body is forming (star, tree, elephant, chair, etc). To check if they guessed correctly, they can turn the page, and the image of the object or animal indicated by the riddle will appear, along with its name, both in Italian and Sanskrit (ancient Indian language). The graphics are gentle, with watercolor coloring, while the depicted characters are children from all around the world (European, Asian, African), highlighting the inclusivity of the project. The font is uppercase, allowing older children to engage in reading. The cover depicts a stylized world, and around its circumference are positioned all the children represented in the book, each in their respective pose. By observing the images of the yoga positions and listening to the riddle read by an adult, the child is stimulated to experiment with the endless possibilities their body has to assume new and fun shapes, helping to develop their intuitive and imaginative abilities and giving them a pleasant sense of well-being.
Autorenporträt
The illustrations crafted by Renata Otfinowska are gentle, much like the digital coloring that mimics watercolors. On the other hand, the characters depicted in the project are children from all parts of the world (European, Asian, African), emphasizing the inclusivity of all nations.
