Autorenporträt
When I was a child, I used to go to sleep imagining and creating stories. The Secret World of Og, the Choose Your Own Adventure books were my first true love. Then creating stories for ADnD games. The Tripods, Day of The Triffids, Watership Down, and the day I found The Hobbit, The Fionavar Tapestry and Lord Valentie's Castle and Dune, I knew I wanted to write. When I was 17 I knew I wanted to see the world and write about it. I have served in the military in various regions of the world and have served with the Federal Public Service at the highest levels of security. I have travelled to both polar regions, have sailed and flown to parts of the world that few have seen. I have used the personalities, conflicts and experiences I have had along the way as a great reservoir to draw on for my story character development. I have finally had the time to write semi-professionally, and I am quite happy with the first book in a series I have created. My beta readers have been quite happy and surprised, too. I hope you consider reading my work. Thank you. J.H. Royal
