This paper proposes to analyze the Guinean entrepreneurial process and arrangements. It reviews the entrepreneurial process as experienced by Guinean youth in the city of Conakry. It presents the results of the measurement of the entrepreneurial intention of young people and the knowledge they have of the entrepreneurial process. It also analyzes entrepreneurship support systems and their contribution to the transition of young people to entrepreneurship. Barriers to youth entrepreneurship in Guinea are also presented.

Doctorant en administration à l¿Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, S.T. Koropogui fait de la recherche sur des questions relatives à l'entrepreneuriat des jeunes. Ses travaux de recherche s'inscrivent dans le domaine de la pédagogie de l'entrepreneuriat. Chargé de cours à l'Université, il fait également de la consultance pour des organisations.
