Takako Yasuda has been the principal of kimono school called the Sohga Kimono Institute since 1978. Born in Gifu Prefecture. Yasuda opened her kimono school because she wanted to pass on the traditional culture and manners of kimono now that the Japanese lifestyle is becoming more and more westernized. Yasuda is also dedicated to helping people in Japan and around the world learn more about traditional Japanese culture.
