Michal Leśniewski, Ph.D. (1997), University of Warsaw, is Professor of 19th Century and Contemporary History at that university. His research focuses on South African and British imperial history, and he has published several articles and a monograph, Klip River Affair of 1847 (Poznań, 2018).
