Theology derived from Bible studies should be presented first and foremost as the deepest expression of the victims' voices. Victims' mute is systemic in the society in which we live. They are not silenced because they lack a word to communicate. On the contrary, their silence is demanded precisely because their words generate systematic discomfort. The seven chapters that make up the book intend to look at life and the integrity of creation from the point of view of vulnerability. In the Bible, poverty is never considered as if it were a divine construction or of nature, as if it were part of the destiny of things. And, therefore, the reading and interpretation of the Bible admits neutrality. Theology that does not transform reality is transformed into empty, alienating and, consequently, irrelevant discourse. "Theology as passion for life" is an invitation to walk seven paths that wish to provoke solidarity with the most fragile and an awakening of the sleep of indifference.
