In this phase, the translator plays the role of a hermeneutist-comparatist. Furthermore, since the translation process in practice takes place in translation units (TU), the coherence and cohesion of these units must be constantly checked. At the theoretical level, in the long term, a metatranslation based on LS and LC must be formed by comparing bilingual semiotic systems: this is the task of specialists and translation institutions.
