The depth section elaborates systems theory and analyze some peer reviewed latest article that support the basic assumption of system theory that, road traffic crashes result from the interactional malfunctioning of the components of systems. The application component presents a case study about the determinant or risk factors for road traffic accidents or crashes in Addis Ababa City and proposed interventions project on road safety management system or program in which specific and measurable goal as well as objectives were established through facilitated collective discussion ofmultiple stakeholders. The paper design a new road and pedestrian safety management program for road transportation sector on safety rule violence involving the city road users (drivers and pedestrian).

Belete Ejigu se licenció en Geografía por la Universidad de Debub en 2002 y obtuvo un máster en Desarrollo y Gestión Urbanos por la Universidad de Addis Abeba en 2011. En la actualidad, es doctorando en Planificación y Desarrollo Urbanos y profesor a tiempo completo en la Facultad de Desarrollo e Ingeniería Urbanos de la Universidad de la Administración Pública de Etiopía.
