Autorenporträt
Michelle de Kretser was born in Sri Lanka and moved to Australia as a teenager. She has won multiple awards, including the Miles Franklin Award twice, and the 2023 Folio Prize, for Scary Monsters. Her books have been longlisted for the Man Booker and Orange prizes. She lives in Sydney.
