Huiyuan Zhang: Senior Professor. Main research topics cover the ecological civilization theory and strategy, and the ecological assessment and management. He was in charge of over 10 national/provincial/ministerial scientific research projects and published 7 academic books and over 100 SCI/SSCI/ CSCD/CSSCI papers in both international and domestic journals. A list of national plan and policy recommendations related to these findings has been incorporated by Ministry of Ecology and Environment, China, such as the 11th, 12th and 13th Five-Year Plans for environmental protection, the National Comprehensive Rural Improvement Plan, the Biodiversity Conservation Strategy and Action Plan (2011-2030), the Major Project for Biodiversity Conservation, the National Ecological Red Line Delineation, etc. Yujie Liu: Senior Engineer. Main research topics include the ecological civilization and "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are Invaluable Assets" theory and practice, the ecological environment planning and assessment, the ecological product value assessment, and the rural ecological environment protection & rural revitalization. He also engaged in the technical supports for the creation of ecological civilization demonstrations, the construction of rural ecological civilization, the counterpart aid to Tibet and the old revolutionary areas, etc. He was a typical expert in the National Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration Zone and the "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are Invaluable Assets" Practice and Innovation Bases, and published 8 academic books (e.g., The Theory and Practice of "Green Water and Green Hills is Golden Silver Hills) and over 30 papers/articles.  Chao Zhang: Associate Professor. Main research topics cover the ecological civilization and "two mountains" theory and practice, the ecological environment planning and assessment, the ecological product value assessment, and the rural ecological environment protection & rural revitalization and other areas of research. He also engaged in holding the "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are Invaluable Assets" Theme Forum of the Guiyang International Forum on Ecological Civilization. He was a typical expert of the National Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration Zone and the "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are Invaluable Assets" Practice and Innovation Bases, and published 4 books (e.g., The Theory and Practice of "Green Water and Green Mountains is Golden Silver Mountains, Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development in Chinese Practice).  Haiguang Hao: Senior Professor. Main research topics include the green industry technology and policy, and the environmental economic policy research. He was in charge of over 10 national/provincial/ministerial scientific research projects. He was a member of the Leading Group of Ecological Protection for the Red Line Project. He was a typical expert of the National Ecological Civilization Demonstration Zone and published over 60 academic papers and 2 books. A list of consultative recommendations, scientific and technological special reports, standards and norms, and other pertinent materials was proposed by the findings of his research and has been incorporated as national policies, which crucially contributes to the relevant national/local decision-making processes.
