In this book we are addressing the issue of solving educational and disciplinary problems of the students through a therapeutic community approach. This imply providing the necessary support, both for the children and theirs allies, but also for the teachers and school. We strongly believe that inappropriate, disruptive behaviors are obvious, directly observed and quantifiable. Their causes are complex and they are generated by different factors. One of the major causes of disruptive behaviors, conflicts and crisis in the school are the emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD) of the students. In fact, the disruptive behaviors are important markers of emotional and behavioral disorders, a signal of theirs presence, and, sometimes, the first hint of the real causes of children's problems. For that matter, disruptive behaviors, an become an undesired source of unpredictability in the classroom, become an opportunity to identify emotional and behavioral disorders and to address themtherapeutically.
