Nydia Tijerina Darby is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Therapeutic Yoga Research Specialist, Certified Yoga Therapist, published author of therapeutic yoga research, and owner and creative director of the Open Hand Institute and Nydia's YogaTherapy Studio in San Antonio, Texas. She has dedicated her life to-ward practicing what she preaches and supports her clients on theirjourneys toward mind, body, and spirit wholeness in the integrativephysical therapy and therapeutic yoga practices that she shares.Nydia is an experienced yoga educator and international presenteron Therapeutic Yoga Lifestyle practices. She has melded 40 years ofher experiences in physical therapy, fitness, and yoga to develop theunique method of Therapeutic Yoga that is the Therapeutic AstangaMethod(c).
