Nathan Boyd is a Bachelor of Science graduate from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX and an avid fitness enthusiast that has had prior experience working as a certified Personal Fitness Trainer as the former Director of Pro Fitness of Texas. During that time, Nathan was professionally certified through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) as well as a member of the IDEA Health & Fitness Association which is the world's #1 membership organization for health and fitness professionals. Nathan was also a past member of the Texas Student Dietetic Association while in college. Nathan considers himself to have had a blessed and fortunate life and has been a life-long believer in maintaining a physically active lifestyle, which is also one of the major principles of this book! He has also taken the opportunity to having participated in numerous fitness endeavors over the years. These include challenges as diverse as having once competed as an amateur middleweight bodybuilder to having even hiked solo around Lake Chiemsee, the largest inland lake in Germany. Nathan currently resides in Texas with his wife, son, and two dalmatians and wholeheartedly encourages everyone in their pursuit of attaining a fitness lifestyle as well.
