Elsie Tendai Porter lives on the Mornington Peninsula with her husband and two very energetic boys aged 5 and 7. One of her favourite places is the garden. The family hopes to adopt some pet stick insects soon.Elsie was born and raised in Zimbabwe, only moving to Australia to pursue studies in Human Resources. She only meant to stay for three years but decided to flesh out her qualifications and get some work experience. Fast forward nineteen years, and she has been a stay-at home mum for seven of those. Seeing the world through her children's eyes really is what inspires her writing, encouraging stillness and\ noticing the small things in life.
