I find this longing on dark days when feelings and circumstances scream louder than the truth of His Presence and His Promises. The deeper cry of my heart in these times is like the words of an old hymn by Fanny Crosby "Pass me not, O gentle Savior, hear my humble cry, while on others Thou art calling do not pass me by." As we remember He reminds us so gently Matthew 28:20b "And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
