Christina Vaughan, aka C. C. Vaughan, was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Her first six years were spent on her parents' cattle ranch. They moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma after that, where she lived until moving to her mother's native city of San Francisco, and later Sonoma County. A pianist, Christina studied music in college, as well as a little creative writing, but her writer and editor genes compelled her to become an editor and writer. She has written 14 You-Draw-It Books, 4 children's novels, and an adult novel.
