Hydrogen storage and transport technology by LOHC (liquid, organic, hydrogen, carrier) is a technology that stores hydrogen for transport at ambient thermodynamic conditions. The thermodynamic evaluations of the different LOHC systems which are toluene/ MCH, benzene/CH, naphthalene/decaline, MSH/12H-MSH and MLH/18H-MLH carried out under their respective thermodynamic conditions show that these systems have almost the same energy behaviour. The assessment also shows that the energy losses during the process of reversionary conversion of electricity through LOHC hydrogen storage are at the electrolyzer and fuel cell level. For this purpose, this technology may be best adapted for large-scale and long-distance hydrogen storage and transport and will respond to the development of energetic transition.
