We have reported Thermoreversible gelation of PVDF in different adipates with wide range of aliphatic chain length (i.e. n = 1-9). The gelation kinetics as a function of PVDF concentrations as well as solution temperature was measured by test-tube tilting method. This techniques show that the gelation rate increases with increasing aliphatic chain length of diesters. PVDF produces fibrilar morphology and the dimensions become thinner with increasing aliphatic chain length. The crystallites are acting as a cross-linking point during gelation of PVDF adipates and the crystallinity increases with higher homologue of adipates causing the enhanced rate of gelation with increasing n.
