One of the main objectives of organic and medicinal chemistry is to design, synthesis and develop the molecules possessing value as human therapeutic agents. Compounds containing heterocyclic ring systems are of great importance receiving special attention as they belong to a class of compounds with proven utility in medicinal chemistry. There are large numbers of heterocyclic rings which possess various heteroatoms like, sulphur, nitrogen, oxygen etc. which received greater attention due to their wide range of biological activities. For an example, five membered heterocyclic ring contains three carbon atoms, one nitrogen atom and one sulphur atom, known as thiazole (A) is of considerable interest in different areas of medicinal chemistry.
