Autorenporträt
Cary Hendrix Jr. is a successful real estate investor whose hard work gave him the means to pursue cartooning. Born in the Jim Crow South, Mr. Hendrix was baptized by the Rev. Martin Luther King Sr. in Atlanta; served honorably in the US Navy; and is a former autoworker, school teacher, postal employee, and social worker. After studying art, he received his bachelor of science in education from Wayne State University. Now retired, the father of two daughters resides in suburban Detroit with his wife of many years, Marquitta. Notes of a Nobody was his first book.
