Tyrone Shephard has an MBA in finance and has had an interest in personal finance his whole life. Before attaining financial freedom, he worked in a variety of positions in the banking and the pharmaceutical industries. At the age of thirty-six, after applying the business principles he learned at school and at work to his personal finances, Tyrone achieved financial freedom. He left the rat-race and never looked back. At the age of thirty-eight he had become a commercial pilot and a flight instructor. Shortly after, he and his wife threw caution to the wind, quit their jobs, and spent a year living off their investment income in the south coast of Spain. Tyrone lives with his wife, Analia, and his two young children, Daniella and Alexander, in Coquitlam, British Columbia, where he is currently working on his second book, planning his next adventure overseas, and living the life he truly wants.
