Doctor Patterson after practicing and teaching Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for over forty five years is now fully retired. At age seventy eight he enjoys time with his beloved wife Janie, three sons, a daughter in law and four grandchildren. Many of his days are spent writing, painting landscapes, composing music for the piano, tending his garden and teaching Bible studies. "I will get to it when I get to it" is a sentiment he has developed where quietude and gratitude is nurtured.
