Autorenporträt
At age 33, Daniel was given a tape recorder by his mother to record his journey with addiction from age 15 to age 33. His mother, author and advocate Evelyn N. Pollock, later transcribed the tapes and made them into a book called "Thirty-three Years to Conception - A Voice from the Street. She presented him with the first published copy for his 40th birthday. Daniel died of an accidental fentanyl overdose at age 43, but his story lives on through this book.
