Autorenporträt
Qiana Towns earned a MFA from Bowling Green State University, and a MA from Central Michigan University where she served as poetry editor for the online literary journal Temenos. Her work has appeared in Tidal Basin and Milk Money. She is a Cave Canem fellow and served as an editor for the journal Reverie: Midwest African American Literature. She was a featured performer at the Idlewild Poets & Writers Conference and also featured at Springfed Arts. She is a past winner of the Gwendolyn Brooks Poetry Prize, sponsored by the Society for the Study of Midwestern Literature (SSML).
