Susannah Sheffer is the author of Break and Enter (2021) and This Kind of Knowing (2013). For many years she taught writing workshops for teenagers and now works as a clinical mental health counselor and a writer and researcher focusing on people affected by the death penalty. She lives with her husband in Western Massachusetts.
