Autorenporträt
Alison was published by age 11. As the child of a military family, she travelled the world and went to 13 schools before the age of 12. With a BSc in Psychology, she took an RN commission. A qualified dinghy sailing instructor at 17, her love of sailing led to her joining the RN Offshore Racing Team. On leaving the Royal Navy she worked as a Bursar in boarding schools. Resident in France for 20 years with her nuclear engineer husband, Alison has skippered their yacht over the last 30 years in Europe and the Caribbean. They now spend their time between France and the yacht in Florida. Alison is a passionate and professionally trained chef.
