Autorenporträt
About the Author Rachel grew up just outside the idyllic seaside town of Whitby in North Yorkshire. She trained as a nurse in Nottingham and worked as an emergency nurse, both on land and at sea. She now lives in Cork (shire!) with her Irish pedigree husband, three children and Frisbee and Lilo the dogs. Rachel currently works as a nurse, school lecturer and dance teacher. About the Illustrator Helen is a visual artist, arts educator and inventor. She has worked with children for over 30 years. Inspired by their curious and mischievous nature, Helen provides a myriad of creative platforms that invites the child and their adult to play. Her output includes interactive sound sculptures, installations, performances, and illustrations. Helen has received several awards for her work with children and families. Helen, a Corkonian, now lives in Dublin with her husband and two children.
