It was such a remarkable moment when Naiya first told us of her imaginary playmate because two years ago, when she was diagnosed with Autism, Naiya was in a world of her own, withdrawn and distant from us. She has made amazing progress in such a short amount of time and is our proof that miracles really do happen. She has fought hard to overcome many battles that children with this mysterious disorder face on a daily basis, yet even during her worst, she always wore an enchanting smile.
