Autorenporträt
Hello, my name is Hank. I grew up in Minnesota and received my education here as well. After college I lived in the Rochester, Minnesota area in the Southeast part of the state and spent a few decades working for a Fortune 500 company. In 2008 I started my own business, Mantorville Farms, an internet business that sells gifts made in the USA. In 2009 I started writing stories about our family dogs and have now reached the point where I want to start publishing my stories. My stories can be read by the whole family, I never use profanity and I try to write so the reader can learn about life by experiencing the story, just as I have learned by writing about the experiences my family has encountered with our dogs. The stories I tell are fiction, but were inspired by actual events. Although the stories are fiction, the message in the story is not. Hank Thorson is my pen name and it is also the name I use to operate Mantorville Farms. Hank Thorson was my grandfather and his name sounds more Minnesotan than my own, so I started using my grandfather's name in promoting the business. The name Hank Thorson caught on and helped establish the character of Mantorville Farms. Today, most of my friends and all of my customers just call me Hank.
