Force and energy are fundamental components of the universe, whose understanding and meanings have changed over time. These notions are reviewed in this essay. The first part deals with scientific semantics, where a historical review of Force, Energy and other related concepts is made and the complex process of their philosophical and scientific meanings is analyzed. In the second part, the philosophical-scientific theory Thor is presented, based on the reinterpretation of these concepts. While in myth and religion Thor is an archetype, a symbol, of the powers of nature, at a scientific level he can be seen as a symbol of the fundamental "powers" of Matter: mass energy and forces. In this sense, the theory proposes new parameters of interpretation. In the third part we try to explain the relationship of electromagnetism with Newtonian gravity, through the hypothesis of Gravitomagnetism.
