Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1950, Lee Allen received a Bachelor's degree from Capital University inHistory. Shortly after graduation he married his life long partner, Susan Elizabeth Wahl Allen. He wascommissioned into the United States AirForce and proudly served his country for twenty years. Duringthis time, he obtained a Master's Degree from Texas Christian University and rose to the rank of Major.When he retired from the military, Lee then found a new calling, dedicating himself to educatingchildren by serving as a beloved substitute teacher for over twenty-six years at both Valleyview andWest Haven Elementary Schools in Weber County Utah. He always dreamed of becoming an author andoften told his students stories just as his great-grandmother did with him at bed time. Those storiesresulted in the publication of children's books, The Little White Wolf and now The Little Green Dragon.Unfortunately, Lee has passed away before he saw this story published, but he knew that he hadaccomplished his life long dream of becoming an author.
