"Philosophical issues" are issues every human faces: Who am I, What should I be doing? What can I expect? How can I get what I really want, How important is attitude? As common as philosophical issues are, finding insight and guidance by actually studying philosophy is not an easy process. The books tend to be long. The arguments are intricate and the language used provides its own challenges. THOUGHT BITES: Some Philosophy Snacks, attempts to provide a kind of middle ground between real life questions and philosophical insights. There are many questions here as well as observations that are thought provoking. Even a casual reader, opening the book at random, is likely to find him/herself thinking in a way that resembles what philosophers do. This kind of mental nourishment can both challenge and enrich the life out of which the questions arise.
