ZIAUDDIN AHMED hails from Pakistan, where he grew up and got his education. He completed B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc., in Physics, form the Karachi University.He started his career as a teacher in Karachi Grammar School. He then worked with a number of multinational companies, including Unilever at home and abroad. He migrated to Canada in 1989. He compiled 'Celestial Marriage', a synopsis of Quran and life of the Prophet of Islam. He is also authored 'Thought Provoking Essays'. He has translated selections of Ghalib poems, the famous poet of India into English under the title GHALIB - (AS I UNDERSTAND HIM). He has made a number of review and commentaries of other author's works. He is associated with many literary cultural and social groups in Canada.
