This book is highly inspiring and insightful. It is also adventurous and fascinating. The most fascinating part is the childhood memories, especially the memory of dealing with childhood bullies. It however takes one down memory lane to the paths traded as a child, and making such memories fresh, alive and immediate. Essentially, the memoir buttresses the fact that life is a journey. The journey however goes with lots and lots of ups and downs (especially having to deal with marrying one's passion and one's career simultaneously) which need a whole lot of persistence, dedication, hard work, etc. as portrayed by the writer. Sometimes, a bed of roses; other times the road not taken. Despite all odds, the writer continues to wax strong & sail through. Not only in one aspect: physically, emotionally, socially, economically, psychologically, academically, etc. In all, his relationship life seems complicated in the middle of things. At last, light shines at the end of the tunnel as his heartthrob, Verna reconnects with him. Above all, the author is a great writer and communicator. His writing skill is top-notch and mode of expression superb too. Thank you for sharing this wonderful memoir with the reader. My regards, Marymax
