Nalini Ramachandran has written many children's books and graphic novels that are rooted in the divine realm of gods and goddesses, the ordinary world of humans and wildlife, and the intriguing land of spirits and fantastical beasts. Some of her works are Lore of the Land: Storytelling Traditions of India, Nava Durga: The Nine Forms of the Goddess, APJ Abdul Kalam: One Man, Many Missions, Gods, Giants and the Geography of India and Trumpet Calls: Epic Tales of Extraordinary Elephants. Sayani Ray is an illustrator and graphic designer who lives in Kolkata, India.
