Hence in present book an attempt was made to know the distribution, associated species of threatened plants of Kachchh district. Here an emphasis was also made to know the various threats to its existence and suggested management and conservation measures.

Dr. Rohit Patel has done M.Sc. (2007) and Ph.D. (2012) in Botany from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan under the Supervision of Dr. Y.B. Dabgar. He is working in the field of Plant taxonomy, Vegetation community ecology and Ethnobotany and published several research articles in peer reviewed journals
