The Target population was 44900 people of Fort Portal municipality and the sample size was set according to Roscoe's rule of thumb (cited in Sekoran, 2003) where a random sample of 100 people was sampled from areas neighbouring Nyakimya and Mugunu streams.In summation, human activities and habitat loss collectively threatened Crested Crane populations and efforts to eradicate and the Municipality does not have a functional sewer line. Granted that Fort Portal is now a tourism city, Papyrus planting, a restocking of crested cranes, wetland regeneration shall boost the cultural tourism of the People of the Toro Kingdom at large.

He lectured at Nkumba University School of Sciences law, tax and institutional aspects of Natural Resources and was the legal officer at Uganda National Health Consumers Organisation.
